Geoff Taylor
Geoff is dual qualified as a Tax Accountant and Financial Planner and has developed specialised expertise in advising Australia expatriates over the last 20 years.
He commenced his career with the Australian Taxation Office in the mid-1980s and then quickly moved into the role of Assistant Tax Accountant with Ernst & Whinney which became Ernst & Young in 1990. His first challenge was to prepare US 1040 Tax Returns and Australian Income Tax Returns for US expatriates working in Australia. This is where his interest in expat tax began.
In 2003, he launched his own tax business – now known as Majenda Australia Pty Ltd – which provides a range of tax services to clients located within Australia and overseas.
In 2006, Geoff became an Authorized Representative of RGM Financial Services (AFSL 225 074) and traded under the business name, Majenda Global. The firm continued to develop the expat tax service offerings and the client base expanded to include clients located in Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City).
Due to rapid expansion over a five year period, it became necessary to join a larger dealer group to provide a broader range of services and offerings to clients. Majenda Financial Ptv Ltd was established in 2013 and the firm joined Madison Financial Group (AFSL 246 679) from 11 November 2013. On the 17 November 2023, the firm changed Dealer Groups to Paragem Pty Ltd (AFSL 297276).
Geoff is now one of Australia’s leading expat tax and financial planning advisers. He regularly delivers Keynote addresses throughout the Middle East and Asia and has assisted many expats during their repatriation to Australia.

Over the years, Geoff has run 20 marathons including 11 ultra-marathons but now focuses his free time on family activities and golf.
Mandy Zhang
Senior Tax Accountant
Mandy is a dedicated and highly skilled tax accountant with a comprehensive background in accounting and tax. With a Bachelor of Commerce degree, double majoring in accounting and finance, Mandy has a solid educational foundation that supports their professional expertise.

Mandy graduated from the University of Sydney and she is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) and a Registered Tax Agent. These prestigious credentials highlight her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional excellence and continuous learning in the ever-evolving field of tax accounting.

Amanda Taylor,
Client Services Manager
Amanda originally qualified as a pharmacist and worked in community pharmacy until February 2014. She then decided to move into the financial services industry and has worked with her husband, Geoff, for over a decade.
Amanda is both our Client Services Manager and our Compliance Manager and her responsibilities include:
- Compilation of client information and obtaining sign off of the client Fact Find.
- Preparation of Statements of Advice and Records of Advice for review by the financial adviser.
- Placing trades in accordance with signed off advice documents.
- Quarterly and annual reporting.
- Assist with all aspects of the advice process.
Sports and Hobbies
Amanda enjoys regular walks with her Groodle, Muttley, and juggles looking after three adult sons, a busy household and her commitments to the scouting movement.
Téa
Téa is completing a Bachelor of Applied Finance at Macquarie University and intends to commence a Master of Financial Planning in the second half of 2026. She joined Majenda Financial in July 2025 and supports the preparation of advice documents alongside general administrative duties.
In August 2025, Téa delivered a guest lecture at Macquarie University on holding property within Self-Managed Super Funds, providing valuable insight for students preparing for a related debate.
Outside of work, Téa competes in eventing, a three-phase equestrian discipline, with her New Zealand-bred horse, Prim.
